Emily Tyson-Shu


Emily Tyson-Shu is an associate attorney. Emily was a legal clerk with Lee & Lee prior to her J.D. candidacy. While in law school, she externed for the Washington State Department of Revenue – Appeals Division, and Starbucks Law & Corporate Affairs Department. After her graduation, she worked on employment litigation, assisting plaintiff-employees in state and federal courts. She later joined Lee & Lee with focuses on immigration and civil litigation.
As a Taiwanese immigrant, Emily is committed to giving back to her community and providing legal services to the people in need. She has volunteered at the legal clinic at Chinese Information and Service Center and Unemployment Law Project to assist low-income clients with various legal issues. Emily is also very involved in the community activities as she is the president-elect for the National Taiwan University Alumni Association (NW) in the United States.
